Royal Oak has a reputation for being overpriced. Whether or not you think Royal Oak homes are worth the price, they’re not coming down anytime soon. Of the 60 listings currently on the market in Royal Oak, there are 5 that are priced under $250,000 and we decided to take a look at what you can get in Royal Oak for under $250,000.

Our first listing is located at 216 W Bloomfield and is priced at $189,900. It’s a complete fixer upper with some seriously dirty and old features.

The next listing is located at 3112 Starr and is listed at $215,000. It’s hard to see the actual quality of the house through these terrible listing photos, but it looks like it could use a new kitchen.

Located at 3502 Linwood, the next listing is asking $219,000. It has some good potential but doesn’t come with any appliances.

On the higher end, listed at $239,900 is 1217 E 13 Mile Road. Located on a busy main road, this house has zero curb appeal but a rather nice interior with a pretty great updated kitchen.

The highest priced listing comes in at $245,000 and is located at 2620 N Main St. Again located on a busy main road, but with a nice clean updated interior.

An Update on the Urinal House

Remember back in the beginning of December when a Ferndale house with urinals right in the kitchen was making its rounds across the internet? Well we wondered what ever happened to it and have an update for you!

The house was asking $165,000 and sold for OVER ASKING. That’s right. Someone paid more than asking for the urinal house. We can’t make this stuff up. The new owners paid $169,420.
